Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig September. 21 in 1983) is an acclaimed American actress. Most notably, she appeared as Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV series and Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. She was born in Worthington, Ohio and dropped out of high school after her parents split up to move in Los Angeles to live with her mother. The actress landed her first part, as Rachel's Room's title character, in 2001, despite having a difficult time in the financial department. Following her win of an Young Artist Award in 2002 for her portrayal in Murder in Greenwich of a 15-year aged Martha Moxley as a murder victim, she went on to win. Grace was Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television show in 2004. The show featured her as the principal protagonist for two seasons and won a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace has worked alongside Tom Welling on The Fog in the year 2005, decided to make the move into the world of film. The following year, she appeared as a character in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and, opposite Liam Neeson's Kim Mills as Kim Mills in Taken. The actress reprised her character for Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a modern version to Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace reprised her role as Shannon in Lost, including the finale. Grace was a part of the show's sixth season that aired from 2013 to 2014. She plays Faith as a groupie as well as a model for actors. Hank Moody is played by David Duchovny. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. Part of the Gyllenhaal family, she is the daughter of filmmakers Stephen Gyllenhaal and Naomi Achs and is the younger sibling of actor Jake Gyllenhaal. In her early teens she appeared in small roles in the films of her father and she co-starred alongside her twin brother on Donnie Darko, a cult classic. She then appeared as a character in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics for her performance in the erotic romance comedy Secretary (2002) and in the dramatic Sherrybaby (2006) each of which earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination. The Dark Knight, which was released in 2008 after several highly successful films including World Trade Center (2006) which brought her greater recognition, was a huge success for Gyllenhaal. In the wake of her performance that was a hit as an unmarried mother in Crazy Heart (2009), she earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. The subsequent roles she has played include Nanny McPhee as well as The Big Bang and Hysteria. Other roles she has played includes Secret Service agents in White House Down (2013, action thriller), musicians in Frank (2014 and drama The Kindergarten Teacher 2018) as well as The Kindergarten Teacher. Gyllenhaal was the writer and director of her first film, The Lost Daughter in 2021. The psychological drama won Best Screenplay Award from the Venice International Film Festival. It was also nominated to the Academy Award of Best Adapted Screenplay.
