Aisling Bea
Aisling was born March 16 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's most successful and popular comedians. The comedian appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling CliodhnadhSullivan (born 16 March 1984) is also known as Aisling bea she is an Irish comedian actor, writer and director. Bea, who began appearing as part of the cast in Irish or British TV shows in 2009, began her career by performing stand-up comedy in 2011. By 2012 she was regularly performing on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms. In the wake of her success at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was invited to appear on a number of panel show. She was a member of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team between 2016 and 2017 and is an ongoing contestant on its spinoff show, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister who is named Sinead. In 2012, she was the only woman in history to be awarded the So You Believe you're Funny award. Bea was given to her in memory of her father. Aisling Claiodhnadhs Sullivan was born 16 March 1984 at Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian who was an equine vet who took his own life after Bea turned three, was a sufferer of self-harm. Bea was informed of his passing at 13 years old. The stage name she chose was Bea to pay tribute to her father. She also published an article in The Guardian in 2017 about her family's experience of suicide. Bea as well as her older sister Sinead, were raised in the home of Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) an ex-jockey as well as a teacher at a secondary school. The family was obsessed with horses and racing. Bea was initially a tourist guide at Irish National Stud. But she realized her true passion was doing and not racing.
